Seriously I cannot jump on the Cubs bandwagon until the Cub fans apologize to one of their own. It's time to forgive and forget and for the Cubs organization and fans to do something special for Steve Bartman to be a part of this World Series run!

Without reaching out to Bartman, I cannot support the Cubs or even watch any of the games. Let's get this right and lets get it done right now! It would be such a special moment nationally especially when all this divisiveness is going on in our own country.

and the Cubbies shouldn't want the bad karma and the worst case scenario of starting another 100 year curse (the Bartman curse)! the Billy Goat curse is bad enough!

What everyone did to that guy was brutal - he is living off the grid somewhere in a Unibomber cabin in Alaska. BRING HIM HOME AND BACK INTO THE CUBBIES FAMILY. Give him a free ticket to a game!!

Cubs invited him to Wrigley in 2013 and he declined.
He wants to be left alone.

Until he comes and everything is forgiven and amended, I cannot support the Cub fans or the organization period.

I appreciate the efforts made so far but,

Do whatever it takes since it was the Cub fans and organization who created this problem.

I think you might have to start with Moises Alou offering a proposal and apology with a package he cannot refuse.

Ease him in by having Alou take him to a road playoff game.

That's the bottom line.

=======

And if the Cubs do win the World Series, Bartman better be in that parade with the players.

The national media was responsible for much of it....but that doesn't fit your narrative.

The national media had little to do with Bartman needing to be removed from his seat, hidden away, and disguised in order to get him safely our of Wrigley Field that night.

Wassup, are you Bartman?
All I know is you keep suggesting former players take Bartman to games...

When I read threads like this and others, I start to believe Wassup lives in his own little world.

Before thinking what to do about Bartman, the Cubs better figure out what to do about the Dodger pitching!

I'm just figuring out ways to break the curse. Obviously Alou and Durham were a part of it and Bartman is the most well-known individual to today's younger generation. That's the basis for my suggestion.

Do you have a better one because nothing has worked for 100 years?

Ok, but if you start suggesting the Reuschel brothers take Bartman to the Super Bowl I'm going to start to wonder.

I know Steve from work, he wants absolutely NOTHING to do with any of this...and he's been to many, many Cubs games since 2003 ...discretely and w/o incident.

I'm a Sox fan, but I pray the Cubs win it all so everyone will just let all of this crap go already...
I fear some nut job will now track down Steve through you and your profession.
