Sunday AM is the only time Z is bearable. Mikey does ok, but tends to play too

much music main stream music. Most music that Casey Kasem played on his top 40 show has no business on Tunes Till Two. Having said that he gets kudos for holding on to Dave Adcock's franchise for 20 years. Also, if I ever win the lottery I will buy the station and fire the SOB who decided to play station tags that would make a used car ad writer cringe between every song on an station that sells itself as a classic rock station.

Z106 on Sundays is great and usually wide open with their content

Is that usual? Best radio station in the state.

I feel like they have about 30 songs the rest of the week and just hit repeat - song selections include acts such as Steve Miller Band, ZZ Top, George Thourogood, etc

Definitely not the best radio station because they play the same 17 stuff every single day. Not the same bands' music, the same songs. Every. Day.

Now, to your question: Yes, it is normal to hear Panic on Sunday mornings. They usually play a lot of good stuff on Sunday mornings and during Little Stephen's Underground Garage at night.

I can thank David Adcock for the first times I heard many great songs when I had to go mow greens early Sunday mornings. Sugaree, Dire Wolf, and John Prine's Illegal Smile are just 3 that come to mind.
