I have a copy of SPORT Magazine from 1955 that shows a picture Yogi at home with Tim and Larry.
Zap had yet to come into the picture.

Way back when my brothers and I asked dad about the “nude streakers” that ran on the field at Shea.
We wanted to know if they were male or female.
He said I couldn’t tell because they had bags over their heads

Great book!

The Yogi movie, made by Yogi's granddaughter, "It Ain't Over" is well worth the watch. Even for a non baseball fan it would be great.

Lastly, the Yogi Museum in Montclair, while small, is chock full of Yogi memories & memorabilia
Really need to get to the museum and check out that documentary. I missed it on the big screen and wanted to see it that way but will definitely check it out.

I don't like baseball much but I like Zap's stories.
The one I liked most was about talking to an ill Yogi about the joys of heaven and seeing family and friends.

Yogi said "if its so great why don't you go?"
That conversation took place in the last week of my dad’s life, he was weak and barely audible.

I told him a better place is waiting for you, mom is there, your friends, a paradise free of pain and all the golf you could possibly want.

He looked at me and very clearly gave that response😊lol
