It's not even that his shots were not falling. They were TERRIBLE DECISIONS. He's a selfish player at times.
He has had many more good games than bad games. Obviously, this was his worst game. That happens over a long season. Unfortunately, it happened tonight with 2 starters out whe Kentucky needed him. If the trend continues, we can continue the discussion.

He needs to flush this one and move on. He’ll bounce back just fine. We need him to play at a high level to win these next 4 games. Especially if we don’t have Butler and Robinson back.

No, the discussion will continue as is. It's been an ongoing thing that Oweh has a tendency to put his head down and drive senselessly into no man's land. This time it really reared it's ugly head. It's on the coach to address this AS it's happening so that this doesn't become a problem. It's on Oweh to put his teammates first, to recognize the situation. These weren't shots that didn't get the lucky bounce.

Seems to be worried about double figures instead of winning this game. He does not have it tonight - fine
Pope needs to go with Ansley. Travis looks like a different player tonight and kudos to Andrew also. We are a tough team even without 2 starters. Bama just has more talent and more players.
He has played well for us all season. Just had a bad game today.

Nobody has got more out of there talent than Oweh this year
Despite being one of the worst finishers at the rim I’ve ever seen - a poor ball handler and a corkscrew jumper he has managed to get double figures every game and made huge plays in most
Just imagine if he could make a contested lay up or tightened his ball handling up and someone fixed his flying elbow
He’d be a all American

I agree, he has had the best season of his career. Just looked at his stats and he has become a different player under Pope's system? PPG 4.8 , 11.4, 16.2 his 1st 3 years. He has also improved in other categories. Sounds like a player I would love to be wearing a Kentucky uniform next year?!

Neither one was a foul. Oweh touched his right hand WAY after ball had been released. No effect whatsoever on the shot. And Perry looked like he stuck his foot out trying to draw contact.
Doesn’t matter if ball was gone. Contact was there on a shooter. Foul. Perry wasn’t given room to come down. Foul.

Lol. Sears didn’t even flop, that’s how little and incidental the contact was. Go back and watch Perry like I did. He stuck his right foot way out when he landed. It was not a normal landing position. I thought it was a foul when it happened also, but it shouldn’t have been called.

Bringing this thread back to life. Otega carried this team team tonight with will and desire! He would run through a brick wall if u asked him too! I love his demeanor and how he plays so hard for his team! I would welcome him back for another year!

Glad OP wasn't his coach. Mighta made him eat pop tarts and watch down the stretch.
