Agreed the only potential losses are us twice home uva at the ville. Maybe home games against state and the cuse
UNC is very, very similar to some teams Duke has fielded over the last decade or so. Lots of good shooters, but not really any post scoring, and spotty PG play. And poor defense, with a pronounced weakness defending at the rim.

Odds are, they'll have enough of their shooters "on" in any given game, which will give them a great chance to win. If most of their shooters are on, they will have a hard time losing.

Because there is no other option. When the 3 falls, they can (or will) win. But on that one night when the shots don't fall, look out.

I watched most of that game. I just looked up the box score and although they made 12 3’s vs Louisville made 8 3’s, the difference maker appears to have been free throws. NC State made 5-7 vs Louisville made 24-29.
State keeping it competitive with UVA, as long as their threes continue to drop, they I’ve a chance.

Not going to start a new thread for it so I’ll toss it in this thread. KU is gonna lose to Texas. KU is looking more and more like a 4-6 seed come tournament time.
Listening to the announcers talk, you can tell they don't watch UVA very often. They commit fouls all the time, they just doesn't get called. When the fouls are called, they are in trouble.
To be fair, they build their leads taking stupid shots. When they hit, they can play with anybody. But, at some point, and it is usually late in a game, those shots stop falling.
Either him or that big, Salt, I think. The starting C, not the guy that Zion wrecked. That starting C wants a call after every play that doesn't' go his way.
Here comes the debate on fouling when up 3 at the end of the game. Backfired here.
I think Salt is a big cry baby. Maybe I shouldn't feel this way but I think he would try to hurt a player if given the chance. I admit he's tough and he reminds me a little bit of Bill Lambeir. If he played for us he would be called a thug and a marked man just because he played for Duke. I give him his due credit though. He serves his purpose. Does anyone agree ?

This. They are so shocked by every foul call. That is because they are used to those not being called fouls.
You don’t see that too often where a player misses a free throw that he needs to make then makes a free throw that he needs to miss. I really thought NC State was going to pull off the upset.
