Would you have at least given the other QBs a chance? Going forward, should they see any playing time if K1 is still out?

Well I see it a lot like giving hill the ball only in the last series (or did I miss a drive - got distracted and looked at the screen to see a 10 yd run and it was hill with 58 sec to go)

I would play another qb just to get a little experience and to get Puckett off the field for a little while. If Puckett goes down with injury, we will really be screwed.

Something really seems odd about this qb room situation.
Very odd. Puckett qb rating vs lsu was 92.9. This is a scale where 140 is average. Swann is 125-130 mostly in the sec on a bad Vandy team & has s ton of experience. He’d not good but he’s not bad for a backup. Rashada has the tools but little experience, mostly bad. But neither get a snap in a 31-0 loss. Strange.

You can go to GP and read the post-game Q&A with Lebby and hear his comments on the QB situation. He seems pretty convinced Billy is better in this system than Swan. Also its odd that LSU only had 88 more yards total offense than us. We just couldn't get it done in the red zone

He needs to tweak his system then. Why did he even recruit Swann in the first place if he’s not gonna use him now?

Swan has been hurt since he’s been here. He’s hurt now.
But not in any injury report all year. No one ever even mentioned him being hurt until last night & 24 hours later it’s just a generally accepted fact. And Lebby didn’t say anything about it after the game. If he’s really hurt then yeah. We just went with what we had.

Yeah. He needs to adapt his system to fit a Vandy cast off thats on his fourth school. Get serious, Mrs Swann. Lebby didn't send you a letter about the injuries ?? Hmm

After today, I think it’s worth a shot. Cause what we did today clearly didn’t work. At all.

He indeed is not.

He was listed as an OR on the QB1 depth chart.

He was dressed out and went through full pregame workouts.

He was not on the availability chart, even as questionable or probable.

He is healthy. Lebby just thinks Puckett is better.
He was dressed out and has been listed as “or” all season but has had hamstring issues all fall.

He has not been "OR" as QB1 all season. He's been "OR" for QB2 with Puckett, behind KT. He got elevated with Puckett. If Puckett had gotten hurt, he would've played. If he had hamstring issues he would be on the injury report as required by the conference.

Parker Puckett is starting at QB while getting to wear Dak’s #15 because of Puckett Machinery money. Truth be known, Hastings Puckett is paying KT’s salary.

A rich walk on that gets to wear Dak’s jersey, now gets to play quarterback after KT is out. Daddy ball at the highest level. Thís ain’t Belhaven or Milsaps. Lebby should be fired.

Heck yeah. Third-string quarterback is probably the answer. Can’t believe we didn’t think of that.
Did you think maybe he is only 3 string in Lebby’s mind? The guy in charge of finding serviceable QBs and thinks Billy Puckett is a better choice might not know what the hell he is talking about! He sure sucks at in game decisions. Maybe he sucks at practice decisions too!

I think it what probably happened was this -

After the interception in the first quarter, our offense was coming off the field as the defense was going on, and somebody in disgust yelled out really loud our quarterback’s last name. Everybody on offense and defense plus the coaching staff misunderstood what was said, and they thought it was a common phrase that rhymes with the quarterback’s last name but starts with an “F”. From that moment on, the attitude was set for the whole team and coaching staff for the rest of the game.

The Power of Suggestion can be a powerful thing.

Man this team is hard to like.

my question about quarterbacks would be directed to the medical staff :

does the extra weight of a 10lb necklace help healing a foot injury faster or slower?

Swann would be dead behind this offensive line. He’s a statue pocket passer.
