Other than our secondary getting exposed yesterday and the obvious kicking....

problems I thought we played pretty well. Dan's decision to play Williams doesn't bother me near as much as getting burned on the deep ball. I think had we built a more comfortable lead in the first half by playing Dak more we wouldn't be freaking out nearly as bad. What am I missing?

We can over come the craptasic play of playing Williams during these non SEC games. I am praying he doesnt play when SEC play starts.

The biggest issue we have is our Kicking Game. We are leaving 4-6 points a game out on the field with these jokers. It makes no sense what so ever and the mental block our kickers have better be fixed soon.

As long as we have a kicking game like now, there is no way we can even begin talking about winning 8 games.

State started 0-8 on third-down conversions. To stay in the game, Dak had to run it almost every other play, the very thing we didn't want to happen. So, I'm not sure where the "building up the lead" was going to come from.

If Mullen would have run Dak on 4th and 1 in the third quarter when it was 47-27 then we might have gone up 53-27 (missed XP) and we are all relatively happy today.........but no, Mullen called a 15 yard pass which was incomplete and UAB scored again to make it a 13 pt game and has us all freaking out.

Mullen needs to start paying attention to detail and leave nothing to chance.

I've seen a lot of questionable calls during Mullen's tenure, but that one has to be one of the worst. 4th down, need 1 yard to put the game away, and we have a QB that's been picking up 4-5 yds/carry with his eyes closed all afternoon. How Dan thought that a15 yard sideline pass was the right call, I'll never understand. Seriously, I wouldn't even try that crap playing Madden

I am sure we will all be scratching our heads after the game at USA and then get ready for the fiasco at Red Stick..

I hear what your saying, but the game was already 47-27, so they would have had to score at least 3 TDs in 12 mins to win. State took a TO right before that play, so it wasn't like he didn't have time to think about it.

Mullen may have decided that he wasn't going to run Dak anymore at that point to make sure he didn't get injured. Even then, I don't like the play call. Hand it off or let Williams run it. If we get stuffed, then okay.
