According to sec coaches, Morris is 3rd team all sec and DN is 1st team. I'd say that's a pretty big blow esp considering DN will miss the teeth of OM's schedule

Actually, Morris came in weighing 360 and didn't play well on Thursday for the time he was in. He's been good for us in the past, so it definitely hurts some, but I'm not so sure that it's a big loss given where he was physically. Denzel is a big loss, but he could be back by Alabama. Sucks not to have him for the Texas game, but this is how it goes sometimes.
Not sure it's a season killer but it's pretty bad for us. The line blocked well in the 2nd half but it took us an entire quarter to find the right rotation after Morris went out and man, that quarter was bad. Nkemdiche is an emotional leader that you can't replace but honestly, if he's going to miss, I'd rather him miss now and be healthy for the stretch that we can actually win some games in. Not beating Texas, Bama, or A&M with or without him.
UM just lost two of their best players on the team for an extended period of time, and you "love it?" What the 17 are you talking about?

After your come from behind win over Vandy, you came in here with your nose in the air to see if the "SPS has a thread about OM daily". So you say at least. Posting about obsessions with rival fan bases being weird and how nafoom never stoops to such atrocities. I know, but neither did a tremendous amount against Vandy. I think Denzel had two or three tackles and Morris basically missed the entire game. I think their D is going to be a "just slow people down" type anyway, and they'll try to outscore people.
Ceiling is still 8 or 9 wins for them, IMO.
He ran the zone read perfectly in the 2nd half though. Vandy couldn't adjust. Made some ill-advised throws that I wish he wouldn't, but overall I was impressed with it being his first game back.
I think Denzel ended up with the 2nd most tackles in that game. I think it's a huge loss because to me the LB's for Ole Miss were the weakest part of the unit. It's also never good to lose a starting OL unless it's Sowell
