Remind me aGAIN which conferences were considering USM? ACC? Big 12? Big LEast? Regardless of how bad things get for those conferences, I can't see them scraping the bottom of the barrel to pick up Mississippi Southern. Neither the WAC nor the MWC would be a good fit because of the associated travel costs. Sun Belt and MAC would be a step down.

Other than that, they don't have much, and certainly wouldn't bring any money to the table for consideration for any possible movement to a BCS conference. On the other hand if they had to play a tougher football schedule than what they currently have in CUSA, they may not be so competitive.
