After the MTSU game this week we should be sitting at 3-4 heading into the meat of our SEC schedule. Assuming we beat two mediocre to bad teams in Arkansas & Kentucky(lost Hartline today) we will only need one more win to become bowl eligible. For that 6th win we will need at least one huge upset win over Ole Miss, Bama, or Florida. All three are at home, and with our rushing attack I could see us pulling out at least one. If I had to say which one I'd say Ole Miss, by then they will have at least 2-4 losses on their record and their momentum from being NC contenders early on in the year will be done, plus it's the Egg Bowl. I can still see us making a bowl game, it will just be very tough.

I had Arkansas and Ole Miss penciled in as question marks this past week. Looks like I'll update Arkansas to a L.

Secondly, I'm not comparing Ark's and our results vs. Auburn. I'm saying that Arkansas demolished a good Auburn team. That elevates them out of the "mediocre to ******" category.

We had 4 turnovers again, but we are racking up some offensive yards every week. We have enough athletes on this team right now to be competitive under the current staff. I think that in 2 years, with a better secondary, a new defensive coordinator, and a new QB, we should be winning 8 games a year. I think we can all agree that we have a much better coaching staff, and we seem to be recruiting the talent to run our system. I think we are definitely headed in the right direction.
