Besides jones who in this class are you most excited to see play? I'm excited about cox. He'll be a good one at safety or corner

Justin Cox is the easy choice

He should be Darius Slay part 2... by mid-season next year, I'm hoping he's got the CB spot locked down (or safety).

Shumpert is going to be a great one.
Kent Flowers has really, really good potential.
Donald Gray might be the slot guy we all wanted Bumphis to be.
Cord Sandberg, if he comes here, could do some pretty amazing things.

I'm curious to see what Gabe Myles can do at corner. He played QB in high school like Banks, so I am hoping he can be the next JB

Ashton Shumpert for me. I've been hearing about this kid for 3 years now so I'm excited what he can do on the next level.

Cord Sandberg. Then, De'Runnya Wilson. Want to see if one of these hyped up multi-sport diamonds pans out. He's got the measurables to do it.

Cox because he fills an immediate need. Then Sandberg because I'm ready to see some qb's that are tailor made for Mullen's offense (although I guess I will get to see Dak before then).

Shump is going to be something. He has been on the D1 radar for 4 years now, I can't wait to see him in action. Next would have to be Cord and maybe Fred Ross if he commits today or tomorrow. I would also say our receiving core looks strong. Mix, Flowers and Jake are all strong. (Mix assuming the chatter is correct that is). Last years DL and LB class was the strongest I have seen since Mullen came to MSU. This year is looks like Jones and the WR/QB class looks solid, if all goes to plan.

Note: we redshirted all the OL from last year. With Flowers, Mix, and Thomas our OL is looking good for the future.

Dan is building this team the right way. Everyone gets bent out of shape over one recruit here and one there, but at the end of the day Mullen is building quality depth at every position for the long term. Just look at the depth chart with this years recruits included. Our team is looking strong for the future.
