1.)Could it possibly be that we have a bunch of bodies that are not elite level talent. It's like sending waves of untrained Taliban fighters against a group of dug-in SF soldiers. All the bodies in the world won't help if they aren't talented, experienced bodies.
2.) Quay Evans is a true freshman playing in a grown man league. The kid has talent in spades, but he's a baby out there in terms of understanding the play book, gaining confidence and physically maturing. Give him time on the field and in the system.
3.) Boyd is best defensive lineman on our team. He is getting an enormous amount of attention because there aren't many other guys on that line worth focusing on. Remember Pernell McPhee's first year? It went much the same because he was the only real star on the line.
