saw this on BDJ, a guy that tweaks uniforms did the SEC this is what he came up for us. Thoughts? I personally wish he had our helmet logo on the left look like that with the maroon instead of the grey on there now.
Love the classic stripes. Those really need to be on our next uni.
Helmet- current emblem (add some maroon trim) bring back our white face masks and add those stripes
Definitely keep our black sock/ blk shoe scheme (our white sock/white shoe days should never be seen again)
* I was watching an old Tenn/MState game from 1987 a couple of days ago and we had some real sharp uniforms. Rockey did do a good job on those.
It would be great to see a page of one photo of our primary uniform for each year. I'd love to see the change from one season to the next and one era to the next. I wonder what year we have the first color photo of a player in our uniform? This would be awesome in the program or the media guide, or even on the official website.
Can you post any of the other ones the guy did? It'd be interesting to see the other schools that either haven't gotten the pro combat treatment or aren't Nike schools.
at a distance the logo looks like a white blob. The M-State logo this guy made looks so much better and it's so freaking simple to change.
Also, I'll never understand the fascination with the old Nike MSU logo. It's very dated. Besides, it's never going to happen - the university spent a lot of time re-branding the athletic logo and main university logo, and we're not going to dump either one anytime soon.
Pretty sure Nike pulled the contract on MSU football, when Sherill wouldnt lt Oregon were the cooling vest. Adidas has been nothing but great to MSU, need to stay with them.
Why is the athletic department so compelled to have uniforms with the stripes that connect the neck to the armpit? It's a trend that's used be high school and college teams that don't have an established look. I think a more classic jersey like Penn State's but in maroon should be used.
