he's not saying "Our players suck"...he's just saying that in general, the goal is always to recruit better players. Well, no ****.

I mean, Torbush is a ****** DC, there's plenty of evidence for that...but I didn't read that as him crying so much as just stating the obvious.

I always want to see our new hires do well, so I'm rarely critical of new hires. But there have been 2 new hires that just left me wondering what the <17> we were thinking. Woody McCorvey and Carl Torbush. Unfortunately, neither proved me wrong.

And what's really 17'd up is that McCorvey had 5 years to do so... At least Torbush wasn't here for that long. Thank you Dan for upgrading from Year 1 to Year 2.

Hey Croom, THAT is how you do it. NOT give your buddy a raise who is ranked damn near last in all of Division 1-A.

I will say that Torbush wasn't as bad as Ron Cooper.

I had my doubts about Torbush when we hired him, but I was willing to give him a fair shot. After the Auburn game where we repeatedly played zone and Auburn ran the option against it repeatedly and we didn't adjust, I knew he was not the answer.
