The UGA video is the #!$@#+@ worst, but it's not their national spot. It's an orientation video, probably made by the same students in the video.

It looks and sounds cheap. Doesn't really say anything about academics, which is normally the focus of these ads. Doesn't really say anything about anything.

Better then the last few. Do wish it stressed academics more, but it's kinda catchy. 2 things- should have said H-E-L-L (I don't think it's one of the 7 words) and Mullen should stick to coaching- I don't see an American Idol Future for him....

most importantly, we seem to get the fact we need to show general scenes that make it look like a fun college. No one gives a rip what the biological engineering department is doing.

It screams "unprofessional". Mullen looked like he would rather be locked in a room with Mike Slive and Joe Biden than sing that entire line on camera. Mark Keenum just looked miserable. Overall just a real awkward commercial.

That was really lame and really awesome at the same time. It takes work for UGA students to be that lame for that long. Ours could have been better in many ways but it's just not.

The images chosen try to build a message, but the focus on the song takes over. Why not just tell a great Mississippi State story and leave the jokes to others? We know that Mississippi State is special: show a bit of why and how to the country. It's kinda like the geiko thing with the slogans: cool slogans but how about our basic message/position?

the good - i liked the photography and the scenery. always love shots of the campus.

the bad - the singing was horrendous. should have been a strong choir .maybe the Second Baptist Church of MLK Drive.

the ugly - my first thought of seeing students working on a car was AUTO MECHANICS 101. "MSU, where if your degree can't get you a job you
canalwaysfallback to fixin cars."
