Our OOC opponents in BB are killing us...

RPI wise. At this time we have ZERO opponents played to date OOC (and even in conference so far) that are in the Top 60 RPI. Western KY is the tops at 61 and Cincinnati has now slid to 68. Texas Tech, Houston and WSU all hover around the 100 mark and the rest are way down from there. We played some really good names for them all to be stinking it up so bad. Even teams like South Alabama, Charlotte and St. Bonny often have much better RPIs than they have this year.</p>

The loses to Charlotte (202) is really hurting us, and the lose to San Diego (140) is another big knock down

It would have been nice to at least play Pitt in that tournament earlier in the season. No way we would have won at that point in the season but they would have provided a nice RPI boost for the reasons you stated.

they haven't lost since beating us. They'll have a tough time taking down Gonzaga and St Mary's though.

Charlotte is an absolute disaster, however.

Using Warren Nolan's numbers, our RPI would be #41 instead of the current #84.</p>
