Coached that way unfortunately
That’s been one constant over 40+ years of watching Mississippi State football. I still remember in the 80s Florida kicked an insides kickoff. All our players had their backs turned & we’re running downfield to block. Of course they recovered & ran it another 20 yards.
Our Admin. and AD better be looking at the disaster we have of a football program as compared to what's going on around the country. We are so poorly coached it's laughable. I hate Ole Miss but look at their HC's press conference from last night to what we get from our HC after a game. Night and day. One looks and talks like he knows what he's doing and one doesn't.
Mississippi State is known for being hard-nosed and tough, but we've never outsmarted an opponent.
Can we do the 10 minute quarters in the second half like the Alcorn game
