Lunatic fans don`t make the team great. Great teams make some lunatics. Mullen`s teams have settled into a pattern of beating patsies and most of the time not even competing with teams they aren`t suppose to beat. You want crazy fans ? Win some big games and they`ll come and stay.

I'm all for pricing them out and not giving a damn when the news papers start turning against the university for pricing out the poor students. I hit the wall with them yesterday. I've given up on them like many give up on some of our teams during games. I sat through bad teams of 2001 so I know of what I speak.

....we have WAY too many of the khaki pants and polo shirt with Romney/Ryan stickers wearing MS crowd, and not enough of the t-shirt face paint sidewalk type crowd. The rick's rowdies types if you will.

I came back for that 2006 USCe game. I even sat in the student section. I wish I had stayed at home. Next to play on the field, the worst part was being around students who didn't know the cowbell rules yet and were also complaining about how bad our defense was.
