If you're on the road somewhere, find me a Cracker Barrel. You always know what you're getting there.

Apparently it is full of awesome. I have never been there as I have no desire to get up on weekends or days off just to drive somewhere for breakfast.

Best place to grab breakfastin Memphis, especially on a Saturday morning, also they've got air conditioning.

I've got to try Bryant's out though. I've heard nothing but good things (especially, the biscuits) and I live within walking distance to it. Apparently, I've been missing out...

its a completely different atmosphere than BP, the line can be long but its worth it. Also, you can't go wrong with the biscuits and gravy.

All across MS, there is damn good homemade food available in gas stations. (Anybody in Brandon needs to hit Cross Country at Old Brandon Rd and Crossgates Blvd)

I lived in Texas for a time and people thought I was nuts longing for some good gas station food.

Although, technically not a "gas station", your post made me think of Tommy's Trading Post. It's on the Rankin side of the Reservoir on HW43. It's more of a bait shop/convenience store, but also sells gas (I think). The kitchen in there is phenomenal. Great link sausage and biscuits and gravy.

I hope it still exists. If it does, it's definitely worth the trip.

Nine dollar waffles are not awesome.
The bacon and the jelly are the only good things there.
OVERPRICED.

for not mentioning Perry Cafeteria and everyone's favorite omelet station lady.
Seriously, that was the best breakfast in town.
Plus, they had free coffee during finals week, which was clutch.
(please, nobody tell me it sucks now, that's just depressing)
