...I had a 3.8 coming out of HS and a 26 ACT and it got waived. I'm sure if you have a 3.5 it'll bet waived OR probably a 24 on the ACT. I'm just guessing though. If your parents went to State, it gets cut by half no matter your GPA/ACT I believe.
It is an out of state tuition "scholarship." A student needs a 24 ACT or 1090 SAT and a 3.0 cumulative gpa. They need to be accepted prior to feb 1 and have the scholarship resume submitted. Everything is on the admissions website.
They told me none of my foreign languages counted, and none of my PE or band classes counted either. That was straight from the admissions office when I called them to get clarification on the issue.

You must have a 26 on your ACT. Im not sure of the GPA requirements, but Im pretty sure you have to sustain a 3.0 or 3.5 once enrolled to keep the out of state waived.
Surely they havent lowered the requirements since then.

It went to a 24 and 3.0 cumulative 3 years ago. It's worth $24000 over 4 years. We are one of the only schools with an out of state package that is this significant.
I know how significant it is. Since I came one point short at that time, it kind of pisses me off to know that I would've gotten out of state waived easily if I would have been 5 years younger.
