And Cliff had 4 rebounds. This can not happen.
I cannot believe Cliff couldn't get that last rebound in regulation.

he also got beat on the last shot...he easily should have blocked it but didn't make an effort...also all he needed to do was smack the ball back and time runs out

What this game exposed was Rutgers lacking a second consistent rebounder in addition to Cliff. When Mag got hurt we miss his rebounding almost as much as his defense. I think Cliff knocked it past the other two Rutgers rebounders.
The newness of Hofstra helped them (Hofstra). They were quick, but I think if RU played them regularly Pike would figure out their tendencies better. This is a game where Mag would have helped a lot.

Don’t want to watch it again but if I remember correctly Simpson was right there and the ball would have fell in his lap but it glanced off Cliffs hand and over Simpson. A tough break.
