Thundercat, I thought it was an interesting post. It reminds me of how BC clung to Cowboy Jack Bicknell, hoping for another Flutie before they gave up and Jack got the overdue boot. Can I ask you an off topic question? I grew up out back of Hurricane and now live in St. Albans. When I was kid (and teenager), Huntington was the "big town" we went to. When I was a kid in the early-mid 60's, and said big town had a McDonald's, that town was the big time. Huntington used to be very pretty, very safe, fun and friendly town. The Fairfield neighborhood was bad, but all cities of any size have one or two areas like that. My wife and I thought about moving to Huntington when we returned from Arizona, but we got a helluva deal on a house in St. Albans. Since we've moved back here, Huntington has gone to hell. Do you have any insights on what's going on down there? General city mismanagement or has it become a a drug transshipment center, much like Charleston during the crack era of the mid-80's to the mid-90's? I give the Marshall boys on the Woodshed some crap about the city's slide, but it pains me to see what's become of Huntington. I just want an honest opinion besides my own postulating. I can't get it from that Woodshed bunch.
