Outstanding pitching performance by our staff this weekend in Baton Rouge.

Easily could have won 2 of 3 and played good enough to sweep. When we get healthy again (and hopefully stay healthy) we can have a strong year. Still stranding too many base runners. Need to go at least 3-2 in our next 5 games. Beat 2 SWAC teams and get at least 1 from a good Arky team in Starkville.

We struckout 27 batters the first 2 games of the series and lost both games.

Today, Kendall Graveman goes the distance and gets the win without striking out a single guy.

I would feel much more comfortable if we take the series. Stupid statement but I feel like that is feasible for this team the way it performed this weekend.

The reason why I put that is because we still have injuries and are hosting a top 5 team in the nation. You always want to win the series at home and avoid the sweep on the road. That's under normal circumstances. We don't have normal circumstances with our injuries.
