This is the primary reason I am going to the game. Without the "Sonic Boom of the South" this one is a watch-from-home throw away game.
while many of us are really going to enjoy the performance, the over 80 crowd is probably going to get all upset. Just because 80 people respond on this board and say that is the reason they are going doesn't mean a bunch of blue haired old ladies won't get all pissed off and call the AD on Monday.

Hopefully over. I'm 33 and I will be one of them if their band does what they normally do. I don't mind their football team coming and hopefully getting us a sure cheap win, but leave that other ******** in the SWAC.
the Alcorn State band got banned in Vicksburg for what the <span class="yshortcuts" id="lw_1251144996_0" style="BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; CURSOR: hand; BORDER-BOTTOM: #0066cc 1px dashed">Golden Girls</span> were doing at the Vicksburg Christmas Parade a couple of years ago. </p>
