over/under - Russell will take more than 100 snaps this year?

Barring an injury from Relf , how many snaps do you think Russell will take this year? Here is how I see it

Memphis:15-20
Auburn: 3-8
LSU: 2-3
Georgia: 3-8
Alcorn State: 20-25
Houston: 5-8
Florida: 2-3
UAB :15-20
Kentucky: 5-8
Alabama: 2-3
Arkansas: 3-5
Ole Miss: 3-5

This breaks down between 75-110 snaps this year. If I set the over/under at 100 snaps, how would you bet?

Might only average a coupe of series a game for the 1st half of the season, but I bet he will be receiving 1/3 or more of the snaps the 2nd half of the year.

You got figure he is going to get nearly 50 snaps between Memhis and Alcorn alone....that leaves 10 games and a bowl game to get 50 more....I'm going to go with about 125 or so

I'm not pythagoras or archimedes, but

Coach34 himself has stated that Russell will play at LEAST 2 series per game, even against LSU, Bama, and Florida and the likes. Barring turnovers, that's 6 snaps a game.

Well, we're going to play 13 games this year because we're going to a bowl even with our tough schedule.

13x6 is 78. That is assuming that we NEVER get a first down when he plays and Relf never gets hurt or even shaken up temporarily. Let's all take a time out to remember he is a running quarterback and he is playing against SEC defenses.

I have a feeling that even if Russell is a huge bust, we'll still get at least 1 first down each game during the series he's in there. That's an additional 3 snaps per game ASSUMING NO TURNOVERS and also assuming that we would convert on 3rd down every time we got the first down. That's 13x3 or 39 additional snaps to the 78 he's going to get, which is well over a hundred. Like I said, that's assuming he's awful when in there, but converting on 3rd down at least once a game. I think we'll get more than 1 first down a game with him in there, if anything when we play creampuffs. Yes coach he will also have some interceptions.

Russell will get mop up duty for at least 4 games(Mempho, Alco St, UAB, and Kentucky). I feel pretty confident that he will be used like Tebow was at Florida his Freshmen year, but in a opposite way. Russell will come in for particular pass plays, where as Tebow was used more as a running threat. Like another poster said he may very well get to go in for whole series, and if he does no doubt he will get over a 100 snaps.

improved but he didnt show alot of promise last year. He is an excellent runner but not everygame will be the egg bowl he the defenses will be better schemed to stop his running. Russell is just a RFr so it will take him this year to get comfertable but I predict he will throw at least 100 times and hopefully 12 TD partly due to Relf missing some time. I really hope RElf stays healthy and Russell gets good experience in certain situations.
