OO working out for Brooklyn today. 4 1st round picks for them. If he's ever going to get a 1st round promise this it. I just don't see it happening and expect him back to lead us this year.

I heard just this morning that Otega will most likely stay in the draft. This is not something I would bet on. The guy who told me this also told me Lamar Wilkerson was still in on Kentucky shortly before he announced he would come for his visit here. We know now how that turned out, but he was right in that we jumped back in after it seemed IU was a lock, so he may know a little something. Don’t shoot the messenger. Could be completely wrong. But worries me a little bit.

That’s the correct answer!

The last one prior to Travis is Keith Bogans.

All moot if Oweh stays in the draft of course
I cheated and looked up UK's 1,000-point scorers. I thought it might be Randolph Morris, unless I misunderstood the question. I was surprised he scored over 1,100 points.

I had to look him up as a possibility. The semantics of the question definitely threw people off.

Could’ve phrased it like “when was the last time going into a season that Kentucky had a player on the roster that already had scored at least 1082 points while on a major conference team(s)?”

Sorry man but no one has sources on this. I think if he were staying in or the staff thought this we would know it by now

Not the news I wanted to see man. I hope they have a backup plan if that happens

A few of the big what-ifs in UK history were if Azubuike had returned for his senior year and Jodie Meeks. Buike only had 970 points though. Estill too with his 936. Cal guys like Teague and Dakari would've been nice, but didn't have the resume of those 3.

I love it when people post stuff they don't really think is credible, especially when it's bad news.

Here come the people last minute guessing acting like they have sources. Oweh isn’t staying in the draft to hopefully get picked and the chances someone guarantees him something in the 2nd round are very low.

So it’s from MeManBoy?

Respecfully, I’ve learned my lesson on that guy.

If he goes, he goes, and yes I want him back because another year in school would help him work on what he needs to do to get where he wants to be. If he were to stay in the draft with some sort of guarantee, I'm not sure he could hang around the in the NBA very long because his shot and his handles are suspect in the pro game. There is no questioning his heart and attitude but he's kind of an inbetweener in that league, I wish him the best in whatever he does.

Not my info. And I don’t know if true or not. I said as much. I’ve been wrong before, but I just like sharing what I hear. Not a big deal man.

He might be trying to get away from the fate that JRob had this last year. That said, if he gets drafted in the late second round or undrafted and then gets ping-ponged around the league for a while, it'll be a rough go for him.

UK really does seem like the best option.

No man. Not Maggard. Nothing I’ve ever posted was from Maggard. I only said before that my friend told me specifically that MM had a source on Wilkerson. Don’t blame you for not trusting anything from MM.
Let's hope your source is wrong here. You're a good, reliable poster and fan. Not sure why anyone would take offense to what you say or jump to conclusions.

Cheers, Bud. 🍻

He measured and played well enough (which initially worried me) only to find out that he isn't expected to even be drafted. I think anyone who is worried should relax. OO will be back next season. The money is too good.

Maybe, but unless he's either a talent they're willing to burn a first round pick on "just cause" or get him and then trade him at a first round value, I don't see that mattering much.

I'm like you in that I expect he comes back. I still think he does, but it does suck that we're sat here waiting for as long as we are.

Something else to consider is that there aren't any rumblings (that I've seen, anyway) regarding UK pursuing any more guards/wings and Pope has talked like he's expecting OO to come back. Until that changes, I think we can infer with some decent confidence.

Unless they are telling him he’s maxed out and nows the time to go. Something is keeping him from pulling out and not looking back.

I believe he has a workout with the Nets today too. Probably would like to get that in before the announcement.

Do you think any team is going to say he is "maxed out"? He is not pulling out because teams are still talking to him and he has like 20 more hours till he has to pull out of draft. I wish ncaa would allow kids to be drafted and keep their eligibility if no professional team signs them.

Do you really? Not me. It's hard enough sitting here waiting until May 28th. Imagine not knowing until August. Not to mention how many guys would go that route if it was available. Things are already fubar enough.

Should I also post every time someone sends me a text on a random hunch they have?
You can if you’d like. No one stopping you. I’d gladly read it. Not sure why you take this as some sort of problem. I only post because the guy who told me this has had some good info in the past.

I know and remember you posted to me that Trilly had predicted Wilkerson to IU. I simply told you that I heard it wasn’t over. Shortly after, we got a visit from him. I wasn’t predicting him or saying my friend said he was coming, only that we weren’t out of it. Seems he was at least right about that. So, same guy told me that he heard Otega was “likely” staying in the draft. That all I know. Could be wrong, and I said that. That’s all. No big deal if you want to call me out. It’s all good. I don’t have any problem with you, I actually like your posts.

He hasn't, nor has RJ Luis. Desmond Claude is maybe the best available that is actually available right now and Zeke Mayo.
I´ve not seen RJ Luis on any mock drafts, but from everything I heard he has no intentions on returning to college. Which is crazy to me because he could make a l lot of money in college.

I've read that on Luis too. Was a turnover machine in the combine scrimmages and his stock is plummeting, but apparently committed to staying in the draft.

Watkins had a great combine and his stock is trending up. Plus he'll be 24 this summer. Wouldn't blame him for wanting to start his NBA clock right now.
