*pat on the head*

Nice try.

If you want to whine about people not wanting our players trashed by sad little boys hiding behind their keyboards, the you are actually worse than a UL fan because at least they have a reason to do so.

I'll just ignore you so I don't have to see your feeble attempts at whatever you're tryin g to do.

Ignore it. You're still using a strawman and it's a poor attempt at that.

No fans, no scholarships, no gear, no free rides around campus in a golf cart, no team nutritionist, no chef in the coal lodge, no "tutors", no top shelf practice facility to host pro try outs, etc...basically no program...

Collectively BBN funds the whole thing, so I think the least we can get in return is the right to whine.

Same goes for any talking heads who make a living off of BBN's passion.

There's been a fundamental misunderstanding of the power structure and employer/employee relationship. From MB to Cal to players to people who talk about all of them, they all live off of the many...the many are not living off of them...

So when the many get disgruntled and start to pop off and voice some displeasure, at the very least do not ridicule them...maybe in some cases listen...

Same could be said for other things outside of sports, but that's a different discussion and rant for another time...

Without fans, there is no UK basketball, football, baseball, ect. ect...it's not just UK..it's every college sports program in the nation. Really any and every sport at every level. Without fans and their money, sports doesn't exist..period..except in backyards and driveways.

Why can't we all just get along?
Everyone has their opinion no matter what the subject is; key thing is to respect another person's opinion even if you disagree.
If we all agreed on everything, there wouldn't be any reason for most of us to come here each day.

I was not happy to watch us get beat the way we did against Florida, then seeing the bench and how the players were acting, yes I was pissed.
I didn't post mean things about Malik Monk, I did question what was going on and felt an explanation was in order.
I watched the video of Malik explaining what happened and for me, I started thinking about LSU.

There is one thing you can say about UK fans, we eat our own, that is for sure.

You guys are great. I enjoy reading your thoughts. Don't always see eye to eye with you, but I read what you write and try to broaden my perspective on things. I am old, cranky, work too much, deal with stupid everyday, try to communicate with Mexicans, Cubans, Africans, and UL fans everyday and that is enough BS for anyone to have for one day.

Outside of my wife, grandkids, family, if it ain't BLUE it ain't **** to me.

Lets go everybody, get back to talking about how we are going to give some payback to a couple of teams in the next few weeks.
Go Big Blue.

Entitlement culture? I dunno.

I get a big laugh out of fans who think the kids owe them championships. That tells me certain fans live vicariously through kids playing basketball, which is very sad and pathetic.

Just coming to say this, but you already have. :p Totally agree.

While I'll agree that the players don't owe fans anything, I would also say the fans don't owe the players anything either. It's a mutual arrangement. You are good at a sport and hope to get paid for it, and we as fans enjoy watching the sport being played at a high level and are happy to watch and purchase merchandise for teams we like. Neither gets what they want without the other/END OF TOPIC.

Seeing as how the revenue made by fans (in addition to scholarship fees of those who are paying for school) pays for their coaches, practice facilities, lodging, trainers, and scholarship they owe the fans, and students paying for tuition, their absolute best. That means committing on defense, hustling for rebounds (looking at you Bam), and for Briscoe to help the coaches teach them how to do that (Cal did dub him the team's leader).

The "fans" of ours that do all that are scumbags hiding behind their computers, proudly announcing how much their life sucks. The world is full of people that hate their life and lash out in different ways - it will never change.
Just shut your pie hole
