He's a graduate who played under the man he's replacing, so he's familiar with the culture and customs. Has head coaching experience at the JV level at TC Roberson, including and undefeated season 2 years ago.

I think it's a good hire. He knows Owen football and he is young. I think he is around 40. He will be someone who can bring something fresh but still hold to the tradition we have here at Owen. He will also stick around for a long time, if I were to guess, which is something we need. I'm excited for a new chapter of Owen football.
