Anyone on here have any information on how he is coming back from his ankle injury? Is he back to 100% now and will he play with effectiveness in the bowl game? Or is he still hobbled?

I keep hearing he is ok to play but he is still on a milk carton as far as being seen playing.

Hope he still is staying positive about his future at Nebraska. I hope he doesn't consider transferring given how the season has turned out for him. Seems like a talented player when healthy and given a chance.

Can't imagine he would. With Newby graduating he and Bryant will be battling it out for starting RB and they should both get plenty of carries. Not to mention we don't even have a RB in this class yet.

You are probably right and given the fact that we don't even have a running back in this upcoming class at the moment helps. Winking

Foot/ankle injuries are a pain in the ***. I tore tendons rolling my ankle playing pickup basketball two years ago and can honestly say it fully healed after about almost a year. I still wear the ankle brace too just in case. My gut feeling is Ozigbo's ankle is in similar--maybe a little better--shape. Granted, I'm pretty sure our medical staff is top 15 in college football, but maybe it really is healed and he's just not getting PT.

Probably so in his case too. Remember how Tmart's whole season was ruined by his high ankle sprain?

Everything spiraled downward from there after that Missouri game. I wonder what our program would look like if he had stayed healthy that whole season. He couldn't throw that well, but holy smokes he was a lightning bolt before that injury.

Had he not gotten injured I think we would have won the Big 12 that year

TM didn't just have a high ankle sprain. Pelini was lying about that but Ahman Green played I think his whole Sophomore or Junior season with the same injury as TMart's. Definitely a painful injury.
