I don't mean to haze the guy but did Flick make as many errors or am I just listening when he only makes an error? He got the down wrong at least 3 times.

Maybe the guy had partaken at that tailgate above the ampitheater where they had a FROZEN MARGARITA MACHINE. Big ups for whoever that was.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: I think one requirement for that job, should be the ability to pronounce the word "bulldogs". I cringe when Holmes says "Bulldoigs".

...if the guy sounds like a carnival barker and can't pronounce anyone's name. He's still a gazillion times better than Flick. Flick had become an embarrassment.

Can we do better than what we have? If that's your question, I think the answer is yes. But what we have now is light years better than Flick's nasaly crap.

I recently watched an old video of the 99 Egg Bowl and it brought back some vomit-inducing memories of him.

To be clear, I liked Dr. Flick personally, and I enjoyed his basketball PA role. But for football, he was an embarrassment.

He is a train wreck. Equally as bad, though, is thatwe apparently think that, after all these years, we still need somebody to tell us how to execute the "famous State spell out." Add to that, we now need somebody to tell us how to do "Maroon / White" and, worse, that it is sponsored by Ford.

Biggest blunder of the Byrne/Strick era. The bad news is they won't get rid of the no talent *** clown. He **** the bed in basketball and isn't even close to doing that in football. He in no way can work a crowd or use the mic to gain homefield advantage. They talk about having the best game atmosphere but keep screwing the pooch with this butt plug. I won't even get into all the mistakes he makes in a game.Holy ****. Where's the Tylenol?

And I like it that way. The atmosphere is the game, the jumbotron, music, the fans, etc. Don't need a PA guy creating atmosphere.

For some reason, I liked it for basketball. Hank Flick was a big part of The Hump's identity.

I've never seen so much food at a tailgate in my life and the margarita machine was awesome.

I would have asked for one, however tequila and JohnDawg do not get along very well.

...it's tradition. It may be lame, but it's ours. Gameday wouldn't be the same without it.

I actually like the way they've changed up the pregame this year.

This new guy is awful.

Basketball is the worst experience in the world now without Flick.

Flick will NEVER come back. He was screwed over royally by the school. I remember him telling me one time that he receieved ZERO compensation for doing PA work. He even asked for a parking pass and was told no. He would park in the shopping center where Cheers used to be located and would walk to the stadium.

I agree, getting rid of Flick was a huge blunder!!!!
