Since losing @ #2 Kentucky in front of 23,000 people in a building they have NEVER lost in under their current coach(or even a game since Mar 4 2009), in a game you never trailed by more than 8 is the EXACT same thing as losing @ #55 Ole Miss in front of 8,000 people in a game you trailed by an average of 8**
why not set up a play for a 3 instead of trading FT attempts with under a minute to go .....not a good job of coaching at all
this game to ours? I think he's just pointing out that Alabama has underachieved greatly this year, so far. He's not wrong.
is getting the ball inside. They're a well-known terrible 3 point shooting team. Also, once Kentucky gained the 4 pt advantage at about the 1 minute mark, they started fouling Bama's good deep-ball shooters on the floor as well before threes could be taken, essentially turning it into a free throw shooting contest. That is more good coaching on Calipari's part than bad coaching on Grant's....
after Bama was blown out at home by Vandy on Thursday. They played well in that loss to UK...like they were finally starting to put the pieces together. Bama is poised to go on a run...
IF we lose by 2-6 points to Vandy on the road, without ever being down by more than 8, I'll say that we played well... and I'll feel better about the prospects of the rest of our season than I currently do...
