How many times have we done a package deal with a lesser player only to have them become the true player...
1) Rodney Hudson / Walt Harris. Arguably, Harris is the best NFLer we have had. Played 13 seasons in the NFL.
2) Brassell / Market. We can all debate whether Brassell was 'going' to be good but he isn't on the field...
3) Quay Evans / Calhoun. Taveze is a ballhawk. Love the size and the way he plays.
And like I heard on sports talk this morning. If you are signing 25 players a year and half of them become good players, you are working with 48 quality players. That is how you build a program. I would say that for the last 5 years, we have been hitting that number or slightly better. That is where our quality depth has come from.
