Suspended by his home club for that video.

Continued my streak of 80 or better rounds yesterday to six. What a perfect day. Would have shot 78 with a par/par finish. Got short sided on a green side bunker on 17 and got behind a tree canopy on 18.

The rain last week really greened things up at my course, in addition to choking out some of the dandelions that had sprung up.

Source for the suspension comment?

EDIT: Nevermind, Google is my friend.

But it's cheap and easy to get on and less than 15 minutes from my house. Can't always play the Four Seasons Wailea everyday. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::scream:

Lol...no kidding.

However, I will be here in a few months...

A word of advice. Do not EVER use mygolfvacations.com to schedule a golf trip. They suck worse than ulismyman and CUT-NETS combined.

Glad you warned me. I was looking at some stay and play packages on there last night. Thanks for the heads up.

After we had made full payment they called this morning and said they didn't have any condos available but they could put us in a hotel.

I don't think they did anything underhanded, I think they are just incompetent from the way he explained it. They don't reserve the condo through their vendor until they get paid; bad part is they don't let you know that or know that it may not be available till after you make payment.

That's pretty messed up.

Best thing I can say about my last weekend of "golf", if you want to call it that, is that I cannot possibly play any worse, so it will only get better from here on out. At least that is my current state of mind, who knows, two or three more rounds like I played yesterday, and I may take up tennis or badminton instead.

82 at Connemara yesterday...Hit the ball decent but just could not score. Connemara is in decent shape and rough is thick.....Needs fairways cut, but the greens are in good shape. Tee boxes not so much. $25 on weekend not bad.

Amazon has the 2015 Taylor Made Tour Preferred (x) balls on sale for $27.99 a dozen. Pretty damn good deal. I thought some on here may want to jump on that. Just picked up two dozen myself.

Played Rosewood today out in Lebanon. Pretty good shape, roughs were rough, greens and fringes were carpet. Claim to fame for the day, drove the 329yd par 4 17th hole. Made the birdie. Before you type, it is an elevated tee and the wind was with me.

I get golf balls off lostgolfballs.com. Play ProV1's and is much cheaper buying them from there. Playing tomorrow with some ballers. Hopefully I got my putter right or it's going to be an expensive day for me. My pro once told me if you want to get better lose a lot of money on the course. He was right.

How's the quality on lostgolfballs.com? Are they a bunch of logo balls?

Sent an old club to the iron factory today to get it refurbished. Old 56 STRIKER wedge that I was deadly with. Has been sitting in garage for 8 years.

They are fine. Will have logos on some of them but get the AAAA quality and they are like new. I got 50 Prov1's last year for around $60. Still have a ton of them left so I just use them when practicing around the greens. It's a no brainier to buy balls that way and not straight from the shelf.

Chase, you can find your "safe space" in the D-League. Just go in there and tell them all about the bullying, they will protect you.

Had fun at the range tonight. Not particularly the working on the game part but watching a couple dads teaching the 4 years old to play. Hit a few shots, run play, come back, hit a couple balls, repeat. :)

Nice course that is hard to find if you don't know where to look. I played there last year and the greens were ridiculously fast. Plan on making it back there at some point this summer.

I also buy Pro V1x's from lostgolfballs. It's a great deal and the balls are mostly like new. There are a few logo balls that you will get, but they aren't the majority.

Shot 83 Sunday at Golf Club of the Bluegrass. Putter let me down all day. Missed a handful of good looks at birdie. Just a really meh round of golf.

95 at Kearney Hills...to me that's impressive.

First time I played there back in the first of March, I dropped about a 120. Probably played 10 rounds there since. It's kind of amazing what getting to know a course and consistent range work can do.

Going to try out a different course before the rain starts today. Thinking about Picadome or Griffin Gate. This is one of the perks of working as a manager in retail... I'm off every Tuesday and the courses are never crowded dayside on a Tuesday.

On a side note, I need to invest in at minimum a new driver and maybe another hybrid... I see everyone talking about getting fitted and everything a few pages back, where do you recommend around Lex, guys? Is that really necessary?

Griifin Gate, FTW!!!!

I think my first and only time at Kearney was about the same 120ish. Really a top notch course, but man it was a beast!

I'd invest in some lessons.

I'm a lefty. You know how hard it is to find a professional around here for a lefty? Besides, it's not like I'm trying to get on the tour, so lessons would be a waste of money.

Lastly, why spend money on lessons when you can get them for free on youtube or other various places on the internet, if you wish to get lessons?

Meh. It all depends on who you play with. If you're playing with a group who is similar to your skill level or solo, may not be worth it. Especially if you're like me and playing mostly empty courses.

Now if you're out there hacking out a 120 on a packed course and holding things up, yeah I agree.

Are you fluffing your ball on every hole?
Are you raking back 2-5 footers 4 or 5 times a round or putting them all out?
Are you hitting OB and dropping and not taking a distance penalty? By the way i wouldn't mind changing this rules for amateur golfers, somehow.
How many mullies are you taking a round?

Not sure who you were talking to, but I'll answer for me.

I never fluff the ball, I always play as it lies.
My putting has always been a struggle, especially 4-8 footers
I always count penalty strokes.
I may take 1 mulligan a round and that depends on who I am playing with and if they make me. If I had it my way I wouldn't take one at all.

Nope. I spend enough a week just being able to play. Don't have the money to spend on lessons, and don't see the need for it as long as I am enjoying myself and know I'm not a pro, why bother? For me it's about getting outside and doing something I enjoy, not about being or pretending to be a PGA golfer.
