He's all talk. I'm one of the ones he PMd and I knew he was full of crap when he wanted me to put up money first. He was the one offering the bet and wouldn't put up the dough. Now that others have, he's nowhere to be found. If he mans up DS, I'll send you $100 too.
I took a lot of money from idiot OM fans this year. I had the following bets with numerous OM fans and won them all:
- no more than 4 wins
- we keep the Egg Bowl
- we make a bowl game
- OM does not make a bowl game
- Hootie will NOT be coaching at OM for the 2012 season

I'd try to negotiate an either/or bet.
I know his statement, but I think he'd have decent odds if you bet that at least one of the two failed to ever play a down. I'd also be curious to see how many would bet the opposite if they had to have both playing at least one down at some point in the next 4 years.
Granted, just about everyone here would've taken the bet on Powe and he played 3 years, so anything can happen.
All that said, anyone that makes/takes a bet on a message board and expects payment at some point if they actually win said bet is foolish, unless that payment is in an agreed upon temporary bannination of said losing poster. That can be controlled. Bet cash, you won't see it.

If Vegas were to put odds on it, he'd be a long shot to win by taking both never to play a down (his statement), but if he could take either one never playing a down, his odds might make it a better bet.
If you were to let me bet against Indy on his original statement, I'd bet against him every day and twice on Sundays too. Just having to get 1 of the 2, though not a slam dunk, is highly likely. That said, you don't want me to bet on it. As I've said many times, any bet I see that looks like a gimme usually goes the other way. Made the same statement prior to our Arkansas basketball game. We were 1 point favorites. I thought it looked like a mortgage the house bet against us. Of course we went on to win. That's why I quit sports gambling a LONG time ago.

That being said, Im in for the $1000. However, since I am fronting a grand, we need to come up with a timeline. What I mean is that if James nor Evans are in school in August you don't come back with some ******** about them going to JUCO and coming in three years. I realize a grand isn't alot of money, but I don't want it tied up for 3-4 years, either.
As for the smart *** remarks from idiots that know nothing about my past as a scout, I quit because I got married and had a child. And for the record, I was recently asked to come back because the scout in this area doesn't do his job. But, don't let facts get in the way. That seems to be a problem over here @ what has become Genespack. ****, you may as well let Rosebowl have a membership.
Next, I love the idiots here talking about how Ole Miss acted like they won the NC today. Did AK get on a mic and tell everyone after a 4-7 season how great he is?
