Maybe we should have college football teams work on trading players and get rid of this portal stuff - with a trading deadline of May 1st (post spring practice). If we are going have all this transfer crap going on, at least it would make it interesting.
After spring practice usually means "lack of playing time" to me.
And add recruits to be named later or better yet instead of recruiting players, have college draft.

Some players after the game are either A) See that they may not see the field much at all or B) Have a sit down with their position coach who kindly informs him that it would be in his best interest to find other opportunities. .
We need to get down to 85 players. We will have a few more hit the transfer portal this week.
We were 10 over at the weekend. Believe 6 have left since then. So that still puts us around 4 to go.
The reason being over so much is this coming year, the COVID exceptions end. So all schools must be back to 85.
