Too bad for him that he improved his game in the same season that Pike has his best team ever. Maybe he’s hiding him on the bench to keep Nova and Duke from swooping in and grabbing our bench players.Pike said he’s vastly improved
How can you be down on Mag?It's real simple, don't listen to what Pike says in public. He can't play and he isn't a sharpshooter. If he was, he'd be on the floor. Pay attention to PT not to BS. Reiber/Mag/Palm all need to be swapped out for real B1G players, we've seen enough. The B1G is not the place for developmental projects, which is what they all are.
Loser take right here...Never seen anyone do less with more.
Got the $100m APC.
Two years NCAA tournament.
Lost 2 if his top players. ( Imagine if Baker and RHj went overseas).
His recruiting is terrible and is about 20% successful. Thank God Hyatt didn't work out at LSU and fell back into his lap.
You're the loser. Imo. Always happy regardless of the circumstances. How's that make you feel?Loser take right here...
But the guy is winning. You're the loser. Imo. Always happy regardless of the circumstances. How's that make you feel?
Pike got them to the tournament 2 years in a row. (Should have B4 COVID.. which was Not done in 30 years)Never seen anyone do less with more.

Because he is a Spaz on the court. Tons of energy but doesn't know how to use it.How can you be down on Mag?

Recruiting takes more than 2 years of winning to get most kids interested & thinking about your program. Those were juniors and seniors in HS when we were good enough to break a 3 decade drought. In which kids were already locked into schools that were good and recruiting them for 3-4 years already.
Before then, kids saw a downtrodden program that never went to NCAA & had poor facilities.
U need to play well for kids in middle school & highschool to create general interest. A run in NCAA would go a long way too. We have yet to make sweet sixteen, let alone elite eight etc.
To tell you the truth... it makes me feel like you are a liar or insane. (yes, I know you weren't talking to me... but "always"?)Always happy regardless of the circumstances. How's that make you feel?
Then in my opinion I’d have to say you’re not a great judge of talent.I still don’t see anything that indicates Mag will be a B1G player yet either.
Time will tell. But remember, if he, or any player, winds up playing next season due to attrition or necessity, it does not automatically mean he is a B1G caliber player. Then in my opinion I’d have to say you’re not a great judge of talent.
For those of you too young to get the reference.People are flying off the bandwagon like T.J. Hooker off the hood of a speeding car.
On the other hand, miserable whiny a-hole know-it-alls shouting out loud and clear "here I am!" lets me update my ignore list.Thread has achieved a new low.
LOL. I wasn't talking about me. I was referring to some of the others. To tell you the truth... it makes me feel like you are a liar or insane. (yes, I know you weren't talking to me... but "always"?)
is this you?

Other coaches brought in big recruits.
Chandler rosario echinique Nydiaye Lamizana Jack Mack..
I think in years past we were able to get those recruits because they saw clear paths to playing time.
Recently other than cliff (myles being only true big and covid situation) the team has had the most talent we've ever had but it's been mainly developed talent so top recruits really haven't seen situations to easy playing time.
Just my 2 cents
My mistake.. been making a number of those lately. Think I need some self-imposed time off. At least womens soccer had a happy ending today.LOL. I wasn't talking about me. I was referring to some of the others.
Clearly not me cause I was posting like some miserable SOB yesterday after the last BBall game and Football game.
Hell, I am not happy with some things . Doesn't mean that I'm not happy about others. But keyboard venting and arguing with some of the rainbow and lollypop crowd isn't worth it. Giving myself a TO.
EDITED comment......Other coaches brought in big recruits.

You completely misinterpreted what I was sayingYour 2 cents are worth nothing.
Those coaches won Jack **** with their Big Recruits.
Pikiell ended the 25 year drought with his approach. ÀND, you are clueless if you think 1 tourney appearance just ends the 25 year negative view of the program.
My bad. You are correct....I stopped reading after "other coaches brought in Big Recruits". I thought it was gonna be another Pike can't recruit comment. I edited my comment. You completely misinterpreted what I was saying
Who recruited Sheridan?4 star HS commits, per Rivals, by coach:
Gary Waters (2001-06)
Douby - committed 7/2003
Inman - committed 6/2004
Fred Hill (2006-10)
Chandler - committed 8/2005 to Waters, and stayed under Hill Jr.
N'Diaye - committed 4/2006 right after Hill was hired.
Rosario - committed 4/2007
Miller - committed 2/2008
Echenique - committed 3/2008
Mike Rice (2010-13)
Seagears - committed 9/2010
Jack - committed 9/2010
Eddie Jordan (2013-16)
Sanders - committed 9/2014
Fred Pikiell (2016-current)
Doucoure - Committed 12/2016
Harper - Committed 8/2017
Mathis - Committed 8/2017
Jones - Committed 3/2020
Omoruyi - Committed 3/2020
Waters didn't get a ton of big name guys during his time here.
Hill was hired as an assist as a great recruiter, and he lived up to that, but couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.
Rice had one big class his first year, then nada (possibly because word was out among the players about his "style")
Jordan had one player, but also couldn't coach to save his life.
Pikiell has matched Hills' tally and has coached them to 2 NCAA-qualifying seasons.
You completely misinterpreted what I was saying
I don't think mag has played more than 5 or 6 minutes in any game this year. Give him some PT before making a statement like thatI still don’t see anything that indicates Mag will be a B1G player yet either.
Mag baby. Talent evaluation is hard.Time will tell. But remember, if he, or any player, winds up playing next season due to attrition or necessity, it does not automatically mean he is a B1G caliber player.
Mag was very impressive tonight. Let’s hope he keeps it up.Mag baby. Talent evaluation is hard.
HahahahahahahahaI still don’t see anything that indicates Mag will be a B1G player yet either.
And up to that point I had not. He played a great game today. I hope he keeps it up. See, unlike you who enjoys this silly stuff, I’m actually thrilled that he played well. I’ve been a fan for nearly 50 years and would love nothing more than to be proven wrong. Glad you are happy, though.Hahahahahahahaha
