Parking for Houston game

Heard that the campus is in a not so great part of town.. Someone help me out on where to park..

plenty of parking on the campus itself. As long as your on campus, you'll be fine.

The advice I've gotten from a UH season ticket holder is to park in lots 16B, 16D, or 16E. He says this is a $10 lot and provides the easiest access to/from campus. According to the map, lots 8A & 9C are also $10 lots, but my source says getting out from there after the game is NOT easy.

FWIW, he also recommended getting to campus around 5:00 (or earlier) to get a spot in the lots listed above.

I parked in the green lot the first game this year and it wasn't a bad walk. I wouldn't worry about the surrounding area, stay on campus and your fine. Only people that say it isn't safe have never been there, thats usually the inbreeds from college station or bongwhorns from austin.
