Slow your jets on super recruiting. Sure it's a great get but his brother played here and is a GA. We had a big in. Love it but is it that big of a surprise the family picked us? It is a compliment his family liked the way his brother has been treated by the coaches and he wasn't a superstar. That says a lot to me.

One of the biggest commitments Stoops has gotten in his time here. Paschal looks like the kind of player that usually lines up against us and makes us look silly.

the brother/father/cousin played here has not resulted in much of anyone in the past, so don't start acting like this is no big deal. Regardless of family connection, was a huge get that seemed improbable just a few weeks ago. Not like we expected this from the get go.

And I totally forgot the kid didn't even have Kentucky in his top 7 he released a few months ago. That UL win took recruiting to a whole notha level. Stoops needed that win badly and so did these new Cats. Seeing the ship heading in the right direction.

Rivals offer sheet is unreal.

For the lazy: Clemson, (hometown) Maryland, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Tennessee, USC, Alabama, Florida, Louisville, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Ohio State, Tex A&M, Va Tech, West Virginia, and Wisconsin, among others. Wow. Like, really wow. I judge off offer sheets, and he had offers without even a visit from almost every top program in the country.

You know you're getting a player when Urban Meyer and Nick Saban offered him.

KyBlueDude, thanks for cooling my Jets with regard to this commitment, and your point that it ain't as big of a deal as we're making is no farther away than pointing out the obvious!!!

Hell, look at Kentucky's CURRENT roster, and see All-American Jamal Adams at safety . . . . we landed him for the obvious reason that his Dad, George Adams was a player, here, and still has strong ties to the state!

Wait just a minute, . . . . wait just a frickin' minute, . . . . OOOOPs, Jamal Adams is an All-American Safety at LSU, not UK.

Hey, my jets are heating back up!

Heck...At least UK had the foresight to hire his brother way in advance of actually getting him to commit...unlike UT who hired the sister as the final enticement to get their recruit!

One of the main reasons and probably the main reason he's here is his brother. You can think otherwise but your wrong.

Prove it... does it help yes.

We were not even in his top 7 not long ago.

Many posters have detailed facts to you. But you can piss all you want.

He could probably play either end position in a 4-3, but in the 3-4, he looks like a JACK all the way, at least right now. If he is able to add significant bulk, he might even be able to play as a 3-4 end someday. Needless to say, he's pretty versatile and will gets lots of PT whether his hand is in the dirt or otherwise. I also hope we can get the Wright kid out of Florida. Though listed as a WDE, he too could also play the OLB position in the 3-4. How cool would it be to have Paschal and Wright on the field at the same time manning the JACK and SAM spots? That would just be NASTY!

Guys, do yourselves a favor and go to Paschal's profile and watch his highlight video. It is jaw-dropping. He has the same sort of elite speed and athleticism as that 5 star WDE that transferred from OSU to EKU that gave us fits. I can't remember that guy's name but I am sure you all know who I am talking about. He lived in our backfield during that game. But that guy was a teddy bear compared to Paschal. That kid at EKU would get to you quick but just sort of wrap you up and take you down. Paschal gets there just as quick but hits with the force of an F5 tornado. He knocks people into the middle of next week. We have got a really special defensive specimen here, like the hybrid defensive ends/linebackers you see at Alabama. Paschal is an elite talent and I am stoked that he's gonna be a part of this program.
