And our teams went 11-23 in his final 3 seasons, the 3 he was a full-time starter.
Just goes to show how bad we were everywhere else those years. Those were some bad football teams, but it was worth it to go to a game just to see him play.
At least in my lifetime, and possibly in the history of our program, I think he was the best football player we've had, if you compare players based on how they compare with others at their specific position.
