There's nothing more really to say. It wasn't just the pitching- we didn't hit well either. It was just one of those days were nothing went right- it's a shame because it was in front of our biggest crowd of the year, and this team is much better than this. But, we're not going to win any games giving up 18 runs, and we're not going to win any games scoring 0 runs either.

The only good news is tommorrow, the score is 0-0, and today only counts as one loss- and we have a chance to try to win the series. Hopefully Florida got all of their hits today.

I have seen well over 100 ball games at DN but this is the worst *** whipping I've seen by the opponents. That one was Croomesque

where we lost 22-4.

Usually what happens is one team would get way up on the other, and then the team that is way up decides to pitch some guys that normally don't get to pitch a lot, and those pitchers give up some garbage runs- Making the score something like 18-4 or whatever. That or the pitcher that's starting has to sit awhile and they get out of rhythm and give up a few runs here and there- plus the fact that they are just trying to get outs, so they are pumping good pitches to hit in the strike zone.
