He might be a great speaker and motivator but his decision making is left waiting. He is a idiot and if you want to be successful just do the opposite of Nutt. However I can understand the guy wanting to play next year and not sit out but if he went a head and enrolled into Miss State the long term gain would far out weight the short term of being able to play. He would have one year of Mullen's system under his belt where now he will not. Now maybe the explanation behind this decision might not be his. Mullen or some other official might have told him that State was not ready to take a chance with him right now and go play at CC and show us that you have change.

No wonder we can't beat out the Rebs for recruits. I hope this is not a sampling of the "fine girls" that Oxford has to offer.

But he is not, as you so eloquently put it, "a idiot". The guy has won a lot of games, and a lot of times that has been the result of great playcalling. He will certainly lose at least one game per year that he shouldn't have lost (MSU 2009, Vandy and Sakerlina 2008), but he's still a pretty damn good coach.

Now back to Dan Mullen's system being the greatest of all systems for everyone.

He is a idiot because he never won the SEC at Arkansas. He has had a lot of talent while there. It is the only school in the State and hehad his pick of athletes. You can argue that Arkansas don't have the athletes as Mississippi however the state is only a little smaller then Mississippi and our talent is being divided by way more schools then theirs. He won at Ole Miss because of his easy schedule and talent Coach O left him. That talent is gone now. He will win this year because of his schedule but he will not have nine wins again. There is a reason why Arkansas fans wanted him gone. They understand that Arkansas is the only school big time school in the state and he should have done better. I go to Arkansas on a regular basis and I have met a lot of thier fans which is 90% of their state and the majority of them thought he was a idiot. I'll take their word for it.

Arkansas fans do not live in the same world as regular people. They are absolutely, 100% certifiably insane. You'd get a more balanced opinion about Obama from the Birthers than you would about Nutt from Hog fans.

Also, the word "idiot" begins with a vowel, so the word "an" should be applied before "idiot". When you're making an argument, using the appropriate indefinite article will prevent you from looking like an idiot.

Big D,

Thanks for your service...

But at the same time, thank God you don't have to qualify for the military like you do for school.

I HEARD he was dismissed in Oxford.

My understanding is that due to a conference rule, not just a team rule, he HAD to be told to leave. In that case, the option of going to another SEC school isnt one.

If I'm wrong, and he's coming, I'm happy.

But I dont think I am.

Let me get this straight, you guys told Masoli and Justin Bell no in the same week. You guys are starting to look like a team that thinks all that 5-7 talent didnt need an upgrade. If you guys end up with Pat Pat, everyone knows it is sloppy seconds.......even your fan base. If we end up with Masoli, you guys telling him you didnt want him is just some more Gene ********.

that would know. Hell, even LA Tech told him no so it's definitely not inconceivable that State didn't want him as well.

The SEC doesn't have any rules that would require a school to boot a player.

Our standards have been steadily getting better while yours have been going in the other direction. Yes, another fact. Now a few years ago the shoe was on the other foot but that is not the case today.

Mullen isn't about to use a scholarship on him this year, especially seeing as how we'd have to grayshirt one of our signees. But if he gets his **** together and does well there, there's a good chance Mullen may have a scholarship for him next year.

I think if we were in the same situation as Ole Miss where we had basically no QB's - Masoli would have been a definite option.

I know that Masoli wanted to go to Tech but Tech could not take him. The coaches at Tech wanted him but the administration said no. Some Tech coaches told me that his other school he wanted to go to was MSU, because he fit perfectly in our offense. I wish we would have taken him but I understand why Mullen didn't want to deal with it. The fact is Masoli is going to Ole Miss because they are one of the few schools in the country that would take him. I hate it because the guy is a winner. But that is why he is going there.

If Mullen had know that Masoli would wind up at Mississippi, might he have taken him when he had the chance?

Team morale issues. Relf and Russell have worked hard
And followed mullens lead, it would have been a slap in the face.

masoli would have been hell on wheels In our offense. The rebs are
Very lucky.

they would not be in this situation in the first place. Also, if he knew what to do with talent when he got it he might be a dangerous coach. Orgeron's babies are mainly gone and we are slowly seeing the real deal Nutt team. Unhappy players who were promised things to sign wanting out; top qb's getting shafted by head coach; a total of 34 DIV 1 combined pass attempts by current roster qb's. What a joke. No preparation for the worst, but then again when you can pull **** like this and take a convict in desparation, why plan for the unexpected?

Pat Pat has not been arrested any, and definitely not on probation. How is Masoli going to practice, play, etc. if he's having to go back and meet with his parole officer on a monthly basis? He's got to do it, unless the OregonDA has a new escalade, too. Missing practice/games can't be good for team chemistry and preparation.
