Interesting hire. I know nothing about this guy, but I like his resume.
What do you need to know about him?USD, john,
What can you tell me about Dan Galante?
I think it is a good time for a coach to try to get something going in the ESCC.
What do you need to know about him?
He was there for 16 years, longer than any St Pat's football coach in the school's history. He ran a few different styles of offense while at the school from power I to a spread O but his strength was on the defensive side of the ball. If you talk to the majority of former players you will hear probably the same thing that he cared as much for his players than any body. He also prided himself on helping players further their education on going to college but also those that also wanted to continue to play football. He had many connections in college and would help any player further not only their academic career but football career.nwf, ignazio,
Was looking for some information on his tenure at St. Patrick. I looked at his record on the IHSA site, but wanted an idea from posters here. What was his career like at Pats? Why step down? What kind of offense did he run?
Was curious for some insight on him as a football coach.
Nice resume. Sounds like a quality hire.
Has he seen the field where Pat's plays their home games?

He has told many he wanted to see the program be lead by someone younger who can breath some fresh air into the program. He truly did put his heart and soul into the school and program I know he left with the best intentions and is currently still employed at the school as a PE teacher and part of the admissions office.nwfb,
Thank you. He sounds like a quality man.
Any reason you know why he stepped down?
