thought, possibly even got down to some details in negotiations. If he indeed said no, then I still believe it all boiled down to geography.

Is he holding out for Texas A&M next year when they can Sherman? Or Auburn or does he just like being a horned frog like Petersen apparently likes living in Boise and playing on a Blue Field? Weird in coaching circles this year, b/c let's face, I don't hear a lot of buzz about people dying to get the Auburn gig and they'll probably easily be paying $3M+ and in my mind is a Top 15 job in the nation.
