....even wait until he could get his own recruits in there to fit his system. College football could do without men of such poor character and integrity.

I'm not trying to be funny. I'm way beyond joking these days. There's a difference between a joke and sarcasm.

i mean hell all he did was rush for 472 yards against the Nation's number 10 defense (total) last night and 439 against the nations number 19 defense in MSU so in these two games this gimmick offense ran for a total of 910 in two games against two top 20 defenses...this correlates to 87% of our total rushing yards through 10 games (1045yards)...well you might say well that is all they do well lets look at their passing stats; total yards through the air: 1121 (GT) 1482 (MSU)...the sad part really is GT has rushed for nearly 3X as many yards as MSU and their offense is only ranked 65th national.....man would i love to have a gimmick offense</p>

You know, being that MSU's traditional strength is fullback and running the football in general, ya'll wouldn't be bad at implementing the wishbone. Bring back Emory Ballard! Seriously, when Emory was run off, everybody was running it, but the defenses had caught up. Now it's such a novelty that no one get's near enough practice against it to regularly stop it.

Comments like this is why it should be illegal for USM fans to discuss sports.

Even the ones under Sherill were pretty good even if they didn't make the NFL. Lots of 1000+ yard rushers at State. Go with what you're good at. I'm not advocating the wishbone for you guys. The wishbone is pretty boring and painful if you fall behind. I just think you need to find something that fits your traditional strengths.
