Pelini's lazy recruiting will haunt us for another year at least

Maybe two. No sense acting outraged every weekend when the writing has been on the wall for years.

The injuries have mounted and now Pelini's summer vacations have really begun to hurt. That's what happens when you do the bare minimum to keep a program afloat. That's why Pelini needed to be at Penguin City Backwater Valley Ohio State from day one.

We're not running with this line. We're not defending the pass with a cornerback from Beatrice, NE. Jack Gangwish is playing hard and maybe hurt. Bless him, but he's always a step too late. That's talent. That's what we need right now. Coaching always seems to be better with it.

Be interesting to see how many we take this year with all the rumbling of mass exodus

And OSU fans will say the same about Riley's recruiting. And he didn't do much with his own recruits tailored to his system- ever.

have posted in several threads but i cannot believe how little talent we have on the Oline -- it is shockingly shallow
I don't think we have a single player that is even honorable mention all-conf
there isn't a single starter in that group that should be anything other than a backup at a power 5 school

last year, we did defend the pass with a CB from Beatrice. He wasn't great, but he certainly was okay enough. It's not like he is some scrub walkon. The guy was the all state 100 and 200 champ.

Davie was bad last year but was hidden by the scheme with safety support over the top. Banker doesn't give CBs the same type of protection.
