Penalties this year

We have had only three penalties each in six of our games. Against Auburn we had 7 and against Arkansas we had 8.

Bama on the other hand had a lot of penalties in the first half of the season and have gotten better down the stretch. They had no penalties in the 59-0 game vs TAMU.

Hopefully we are able to play with less mistakes against them than Arkansas. Homecoming should give us a chance to get both our offense and defense back into a rhythm before heading in to TTown.

I don't trust the officials at all when playing Bama. We'll see if they get their normal treatment in two weeks.

Coming into this game, the program guide says we had the least penalties in the sec.
Is that because we are winning or are we winning because of that? You decide.

We weren't ranked until after our 4th game. We had 12 penalties at that point. We again had three penalties vs TAMU and broke into the top ten. So, average of 3 per game.

Once we cracked the top ten, we've been penalized on average 6 times a game.

I'd say it is helping us win and our lack of penalties has nothing to do with our ranking.
