Where:
Huff Hall, Champaign, IL

TV:

Video Streaming:
The video will be streamed over BTN+ for those that are subscribers.

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 1:40 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 2:00 pm EST. GoPSUsports.com changed their web site, and I've yet to figure out how to get the URLs in advance for the audio stream. Go to:

gopsusports.com

Lion Vision

Once there, click on the button to the left of Wrestling: Illinois

PBP:
I'm reffing a tournament all day on Sunday, so I'm out for PBP. Frustrating for me, and probably for some of you as well. I hope @GregPickel will be providing coverage. And I always encourage others to participate in the coverage. If you do so, please give the score of the match, as well as the dual, as opposed to just providing some information. Have fun, and I look forward to reading this thread when I get home.

Davis getting worked by Byrd. Byrd is fantastic though. Should be a good learning experience for Davis though.

Yeah, don't read too much into that one for Davis. Just getting back and Byrd is good

Byers said on Friday that Greg did not make the trip.

I figured they were just giving him a rest before the B1G tournament. I hope it’s nothing more than that. They usually make the trip when they rest guys.

I have a feeling that the coaches would have rather not wrestled him at all or only today. Lilledahl getting pinned meant Davis had to wrestle both matches.

141: No. 3 Beau Bartlett vs. No. 17 Danny Pucino

First period
Bartlett somehow fends off a terrific Pucino shot and they go off the edge. Bartlett then shoots in and gets the takedown and then locks up a turning combination for a 5-0 lead after one.

Second period
Bartlett takes bottom and escapes to build a 6-0 lead. No more scoring.

Thid period
Pucino takes bottom to start the third. He escapes quick to 6-1, and then gets a takedown on the edge to lead 9-1. Pucino sits out and escapes to 9-2 with about 90 seconds left to wrestle. That is the final.

It's good experience for him and he needs matches. Think his tank just isn't full and this helps it. The meets themselves aren't in question even if Garcia goes and gets pinned.

Man Sealey pulled this out but Cody didn’t want him going underneath. Heck of a way to win with the grit.

157: Joe Sealey vs. No 30 Jason Kraisser, Illinois

First period
Sealey had a good shot late in the first period but could not finish it. Scoreless after one.

Second period
Kraisser takes bottom and escapes for a 1-0 lead. Another good shot by the Nittany Lion does not result in points. It's 1-0 Kraisser after two.

Third period
Sealey takes bottom. He escapes with 30 seconds left to 1-1. He then shoots and takes Kraisser down with a double leg and rides it out. But it goes to review. And after a lengthy review, the takedown is waved off. Kraisser does have the riding time point secured. He wins 2-1 with 1:04 in riding time advantage.
