Obviously we'll wait and see what the plan is at 184. Byers is sure to share more once the broadcast starts. The freshmen weighed in at 125 and 149, clearly. And, Washington apparently did not for Indiana at 174, which is also not a surprise.

That's a surprise at 184. Will Josh Barr get a start? Will Donovan Ball get the start? Is Truax trying to work through something (injury, illness) to see if he can go?

Reminder as 125 gets underway: Davis will burn his redshirt officially in his next match. Which, is expected to happen.

125: Braeden Davis vs. Michael Spangler (MS)

This is the last time Davis can wrestle for PSU before he burns his redshirt

Per 1
Davis with a single, gets behind him, and brings MS to the mat for the TD, 3-0. MS gets away for the esc, 3-1. End

Per 2
Davis takes bottom. He sits out, back under. Davis steps over and gets the rev, 5-1. MS to his feet, and Davis is hit with a stall warning. MS tried to get a rev but Davis gives up the esc, 5-2. OOB. MS shoots and Davis with a nice counter and gets the TD, 8-2. End RT @ 45 sec for Davis

Per 3
MS takes bottom. Caution on Davis. Then a caution on MS. Davis nearly gets back points, but nothing. RT goes over 1 min for Davis. Stalemate with 1:32 left. MS stands and Davis sort of cutes him, 8-3. MS gets a headlock but Davis rolls through and gets the TD and is getting swipes, until MS gets to his belly. 15-3 after that flurry. End. With 2:05 in RT, it's a 16-3 MAJOR for Braeden Davis

4-0, PSU

133: Aaron Nagao vs. Isaac Thornton (IT)

Per 1
A wild flurry to start things and after a big scramble Nagao gets the TD, 3-0. Nagao has IT stretched out and is looking to tilt him. He gets 2 swipes, so it's 5-0. IT is doing nothing on the bottom. Nagao cuts him, 5-1. Nagao has a headlock and then spins behind for the TD, 8-1. Nagao exposes IT's back but IT rolls thru. End. RT @ 2:31 for Nagao

Per 2
IT takes top. He gets a pretty quick reversal, 10-2. He cuts him, 10-3. Nagao with another TD, 13-3. IT stands and Nagao pushes him away. Nagao with a double for a TD, 16-3

Per 3
Nagao takes neutral. Nagao tries to lock a cradle, but eventually he goes behind for the TD and he wins by TF, 20-4 @ 5:24

9-0, PSU

141: Beau Bartlett vs. Danny Fongaro (DF)

This is one of the better matchups today. DF is 16-1, and ranked 23rd in InterMat

Per 1
Nothing thru 1st minute. DF sort of dives at legs, nothing. Stalemate. Beau in on a single and he has DF dancing, and DF kicks free so nothing. 1 minute left. DF working the edge. Stalemate with 26 sec left. End

Per 2
DF defers. Bartlett takes bottom. Beau to his feet, back down, up again and is out, 1-0. DF shoots from too far out, nothing. Beau in on a single, he has DF dancing again, he lefties him but DF bounces up, they are to the mat and DF has a grab around a leg. Beau is trying to expose DF or to get his leg free, but a stalemate with 15 sec left. End. RT @ 8 sec for DF

Per 3
DF takes bottom. He sits out, then to his feet, and then he's out in 10 sec, so RT is no factor. 1-1. 1 min left. DF gets in on a single, Beau in a scramble, Beau has a leg and he spins around, and he gets the TD with 15 sec left and is getting swipes. End. He gets an 8-1 DEC between the TD and the swipes.

12-0, PSU

149: Tyler Kasak vs. Graham Rooks (GR)

Rooks ranked 14th. He's a 6th year senior, and looks huge compared to Kasak

Per 1
Kasak with a headlock and has Rooks trapped. GR eventually gets to his belly, but it's 7-0 after the throw by Kasak. Tyler doing well on top. GR to his feet, and returned to his knee. GR back up, and Karak lifts and returns. Kasak exposes him and gets 4 NF, 11-0. End RT @ 1:58 for Kasak

Per 2
GR takes neutral. Kaska with an ankle pick to a single, GR with a whizzer, but Kasak bulls thru for the TD, 14-0. (And I was nervous about this match. smh) Stoppage for stalemate or OOB with 31 sec left. Rooks to a 3-pt stance but Kasak stays with him. End. RT @ 3:19 for Kasak

Per 3
Kasak takes bottom. He works up. He sits out, then up, lifted, then OOB with 1:14 left. Kasak to his feet, tries to run away, but GK lifts and they are OOB with 1:23 left. Kaska works to a 4-pt stance, then up, and they run OOB with 1:04 left. RT is locked for Kasak. Kasak to a 3-pt stance, GR locks around the waist, now Kasak to his feet, then a stall warning on GR, and they are OOB with 26 sec left. GR throws in a boot. Kasak tries to hip over and is given the esc with 1 sec left. It's a 16-0 TF at 6:59 for Kasak

17-0, PSU
