Nasty allegations of sexual assaults against children by a former staff and subsequent cover up and false testimony by AD and Prez. Like real nasty, worst kind of way. No way they don't clean house type nasty.

The AD has been charged with Perjury from previous allegations, believed to have given false testimony to cover up.

Fire them all, everyone that knew about this and didn't report it should be gone immediately.

Sandusky retired in 1999 and the incident occurred in 2002. A grad assistant witnessed the incident, the grad told Paterno, and Paterno reported it to the AD. Looks like the AD dropped the ball at that point and didn't push for enough info and didn't report it to the police (beyond the administrative head of Penn State security).

almost everyone believes the cops can do no wrong. It is a real shame that the ones charged are treated in that way. Almost always there are two sides to any story. Certainly if this is true it should result in dismissal and other punishment as well...but only until proven true. It is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty; instead, one is guilty and better be able to prove his/her innocence. Even when a not guilty verdict is rendered the defendant's name is already mud. There are some really over zealous cops out there, and there are some who are true to their profession. Do not think I am defending the AD, Prez or anyone else who may be involved...but I am not going to jump to any radical conclusions either.

doesn't mean they aren't completely innocent. But I have a hard time believing the Attorney General of Pennsylvania would have been on board with arresting so many high profile and very respected people in that state if there wasn't pretty strong evidence against them. </p>

If this is true and Paterno heard about it and all he did was report it to the AD, then he's just as guilty as the rest.

That is Death Penalty to me. Crimes against children are so heinous even the other convicts target them. Makes me sick.

This was the actual photo...

In the meantime, Occupy Wall Street leftist progressives attack black men....

That guy looks an awful lot like Nathan Bedford Forrest.

Sandusky retired from coaching at a fairly young age, especially for a career assistant who wouldn't have the savings that a Div. I head coach would. After seeing this, it makes me wonder if maybe there was some incident that Paterno let himresign quietly over.

yes I would say you are right.

In this case "the cops" aren't doing any testifying. But I guess "almost everyone" believes grad assistants can do no wrong too.

just because one has the AG title does not mean he is right. Just saying that people should not be so quick to judge....you said it...."very respected people". So I choose to wait and see.

You can choose to wait and see but what you'll see when this is all said and done is a pervert convicted of molesting and raping young boys who had no one to trust but him. I know he'll burn in hell but that won't be enough punishment. It's said prisoners have their own code and they don't care for child molesters.
