I'm setting this up in advance, so that everybody has the details they may need.

Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the PSU - Michigan dual.

Rec Hall, State College, PA

There is no TV for the match

The match will be available for streaming to B1G+, to subscribers.

PBP:
As I indicated as a heads-up for the Michigan dual thread, I'm OUT for PBP (sorry guys). Hopefully, many of you will step up and provide PBP, thoughts, analysis, etc. during the match. @GregPickel was hopeful but not certain that he could provide PBP. As always, I remind folks that provide PBP to include scores for each dual, as well as the match score.

I agree that Kerk did not look his best, but he took 1 bad, straight on, shot, got extended, and got beat around the corner. He needs to create angles and score off of low level attacks. He’s not the type of guy who is going to score off blast doubles or even high crotches against Parris. His hips are too strong. Attack him below the knee.
I’m sure Cael and company will make the necessary adjustments and then it’s up to Kerk to stick to the plan and execute.

RBY vs #16 Rayvon Foley. Early TD for RBY up 2-0. Now riding with ankle hooked. Arm bar ride (but not like S Lee). Off mat 1:33 left in first. RBY cuts him now 2-1. Another TD now 4-1 RBY. RBY in control. Into second neutral start.

#15 Shane Van Ness vs unranked TF Stauffemberg. Byers says starter Omania may have been banged up. TD SVN. Escape MSU now 2-1 SVN. TD 4-1 and working for BP’s. No points there. 1:05 and counting RT for SVN. After one it’s 4-1 SVN.

MSU chooses down. SVN cuts him now 4-2. TD SVN now 6-2. Wrist riding looking for turn. Zip. Stall called on MSU guy. Stauffemberg is 10-4 on the year. That’s it through two with RT it’s 7-2. Escape SVN now 8-2. TD by SVN and working for BP’s two NF now 11-3. Pin!! PSU now up 18-0

Barraclaugh vs Chase Saldate at 157. It’s only my opinion but I think Carl likes bringing on Utah guys the same way Joepa liked to always have an Italian starter in the lineup.

Escape msu now TB up 2-1. If I heard right Byers said Saldate says Ed Ruth was his greatest wrestling influence.. After one no change 2-1 TB. TB takes down and spiral ride by Saldate. It’s a good tight waist and riding TB who is bellied out. He’s gonna ride TB the entire period and still 2-1 after two. 1:46 in RT for msu who takes bottom into third
